Clicked from a moving vehicle on the way to Gupt Godavari in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh. I found plenty of mud houses which looked more beautiful and different from those that I have seen elsewhere but unfortunately we were on a crowded vehicle and it was uncomfortable for me to shoot. This was the only one that I could manage but my naughty son put his hand right in front of the lens, so I had to chop off a portion of the image. Anyway, I think whatever is left is impressive enough.

ReplyDeleteHow interesting this house is, and I love the textures and tones here, Pradeepa.
ReplyDeleteThat is a house with character! You captured it very well. I wouldn't have guessed the story of how you got that photo! It looks just right to me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolor effect. The blue-painted door adds such interest and character.
ReplyDeleteI like it... smooth and earthy in color... much like the adobe (earth) houses in the southwest part of the United States... I'm your newest GFC follower and RSS subscriber... Thank you for coming by to share on Rurality Blog Hop #37!
