Agra Fort

It was at the Agra Fort that Shah Jahan, who built Taj Mahal, was held captive by his own son, Aurangazeb. Here he spent his last days looking at the Taj Mahal, which he built in memory of his deceased wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

A view of the Taj Mahal from the Agra Fort.

  3. Such a clean-cut building and impeccably scrubbed. Or is it the heavy rains that make it look so good?
What a sad story about the architect.

  4. Wonderful photos of Agra Fort. There's so much history, both sad, cruel and magnificent tied up within these buildings.
